Apium PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride) is a homopolymer with medium viscosity. Similar to other high-performance polymers it offers stability in the form of thermal, chemical, or ultraviolet conditions. This material is thermally resistant/structurally stable up to 149°C and it is almost universally resistant to chemicals and solvents, showing no signs of effect by long-term, exposure to ultraviolet radiation.
|Size:||20cm x 20cm x 5cm (LxWxH)|
Description of the Material:
Apium PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride), Ø1,75 mm – Highest chemical resistance, very low friction coefficient, low weight, post-treatment possible
Drying of the Filament:
Many technical polymers are hygroscopic in nature which means they absorb moisture when exposed to the ambient air. Therefore, the filament must be actively dried before printing as it increases the strength and the surface quality of the printed part. Apium F300 is used as an inline dryer for industrial 3D printers. To learn more about Apium F300 click here.
Apium 3D printers that can process Apium PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride)
The patented technology of the thermal management systems makes the 3D printers best for processing high-performance polymers such as Apium PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride).
Apium PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride) is resistant to most extreme chemicals, especially suitable for harsh environments
